Andrea earned her Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Business from Michigan State University and currently serves as the Human Resources Manager and Advocacy Coordinator at CHASS Center. She began her journey at CHASS as a Clinical Intern and has since grown into a leadership role.

Having grown up in Southwest Detroit, Andrea developed a strong connection to CHASS’s mission of ensuring access to quality health care as a basic human right. As the eldest child in her family, she often served as a translator and advocate, experiences that shaped her passion for making health services more inclusive and accessible to all.

Andrea brings that passion into her work in both human resources and advocacy, helping to create a welcoming and supportive workplace while promoting policies that strengthen community health and expand access to care for those who need it most.
