Katterinne Hidalgo was born and raised in Cali, Colombia. Before joining the CHASS Team, Katterinne worked as a registered nurse in a medical-surgical unit and as a local travel nurse for Trinity Health. During her inpatient experience, Katterninne cared for patients from different backgrounds and complex cases. She has always been passionate about patient education and patient engagement in their plan of care. Katterinne believes that to improve patient outcomes, healthcare delivery should be focused not only on patients but also on their particular needs. She is currently a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and dancing salsa.
