The Community Health and Social Services (CHASS) Center Inc. in southwest Detroit is unveiling its new mammography services at a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. on May 8.
This state-of-the-art technology will help to ensure that thousands of women in the Detroit community receive life-saving breast cancer screenings each year. The addition of the new mammogram machine will allow CHASS Center to continue their mission of providing high quality, affordable care to underserved populations in the city.
CHASS Center treats nearly 12,000 patients annually offering a full spectrum of ongoing services including primary and preventative health care, as well as dental and behavioral health services for individuals of all ages.
