CELEBRATING THE LIFE OF MARGARET KUHN

Growing up on a farm in Almont, Michigan, Margaret Kuhn knew the importance of good food and exercise to stay healthy.  She added a multitude of friends to her life when she attended Michigan State University and then became a flight attendant based in Detroit where she lived for several years.  Next came family and she moved to New Jersey with her husband, Wally and raised three children.  But she never gave up the idea of wanting to help people and in her fifties she went back to school and became a nurse.

Margaret Kuhn knew the importance of health and fitness to stay strong both mentally and physically.  She exercised almost every day of her 96 years.  This passion is shared by her grand-nephew, Richard Bryce, Chief Medical Officer at CHASS.  CHASS is a Federally Qualified Health Center that provides comprehensive, accessible and affordable quality primary health care and support services to all residents of the community.   She has been a long time supporter of the CHASS Center, especially for the CHASS 5K run/walk and kids’ race.
