Jennifer Mora is a life-long resident of Southwest Detroit and a graduate of the former Holy Redeemer High School. Ms. Mora has been a strong supporter of her community and neighborhood throughout her life. Whether as a community organizer or volunteering with the now defunct Holy Redeemer High School Alumni Association and many other community organizations from greening to education, Ms. Mora has been actively engaged in initiatives that improve Southwest Detroit and bring a brighter light to the Southwest community. Ms. Mora has also offered her time to raise awareness and funds for the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society.

In recent years, Ms. Mora shifted her volunteer efforts to the physical health of the people in her community, becoming an avid advocate of accessible and affordable health care services in underserved neighborhoods. Currently, Ms. Mora serves as a board member at CHASS Center. For almost a decade, Ms. Mora has keenly championed CHASS’ fundraising events and supported policies that strengthen the organization’s mission, delivery of healthcare to vulnerable patients and the staff experience. She is equally active at the national level with the network of Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). Aside from her volunteer work, for over forty years, Ms. Mora, has worked at the international accounting and consulting firm, Deliotte Services, in their Detroit office as part of One Team primarily working with the tax group.
