Melissa Garcia has over 11 years of experience working in the Southwest Detroit non-profit sector, specializing in program development for organizations such as, Boys Hope Girls Hope Detroit, Detroit Cristo Rey High School and the Women Infants and Children (WIC) Program.
Melissa serves as CHASS’ Clinic Manager, bringing supervisory, program design, policy, and program evaluation expertise. Prior to becoming Clinic Manager, she served as the Program Coordinator for the organization’s WIC Program.
She holds a B.A. in Health Studies with a Minor in Psychology and Health Promotion, a B.S. in Nutrition Science and her M.S. in Public Health from Michigan State University. Melissa is passionate about serving families in the community where she was born and raised. Her goal is to ensure that all our patients receive exceptional customer service.
