Mary Rubio is an Assistant Wayne County Prosecutor in the Domestic Violence Unit. She has been an employee of the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office since 1995.
She started as a Victim Advocate in the Child and Family Abuse Bureau (now the Special Victims Unit) providing assistance to domestic violence survivors. She then attended law school at Wayne State University. Upon graduation in 2002, she became an Assistant Prosecutor and began prosecuting perpetrators of domestic violence.
In addition to being on the Board at CHASS, Ms. Rubio is on the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Bar Association. She was appointed last year by the Michigan Supreme Court to the Foreign Language Board and previously served on the State Bar Committee on Domestic Violence.
